#3 society & culture, history, and technology

Chameleon: Wild Boys

this is one of my current favourites. It’s not quite true crime, but it is a true story – of two strange teenage boys who appeared in a small Canadian town in 2003, insisting that they had been brought up in a forest. It is fast paced, with excellent cliffhangers and the production is good too. Presenter Sam Mullins is great and he, eventually, even talks to the boys themselves, now adults.

Real Dictators

Real Dictators explores the hidden lives of history's tyrants. This is a really interesting and well produced podcast series, with a number of really interesting series/chapters. I'd highly recommend the episodes on Francisco Franco.

Lex Fridman Podcast

Conversations about science, technology, history, philosophy and the nature of intelligence, consciousness, love, and power. Lex is an AI researcher at MIT and beyond. The conversations go deep and he has a great mix of guests. My most recent favourite was his interview with Mark Zuckerberg.
