Alistair and Rory, memories of food, and the incel movement

Good morning! Short and sharp this week, including a new podcast (bitter/sweet) that I really enjoyed listening to this weekend. Keep the recommendations coming and have a great week!

Leading (Gary Lineker)

Alistair Campbell and Rory Stewart (from The Rest is Politics) have released a new podcast, featuring a special guest every week usually from the political stage. Following the Match of the Day saga, I chose the podcast with footballer Gary Lineker.

Bitter/sweet

A new favourite... this podcast explores our relationship between food and our deepest memories. Remember your favourite meal? The dish that takes you to a specific moment? The episode with restauranteur, Jeremy King (The Wolseley, The Delaunay), and a meal that shaped his career. Excellent!

Boys Like Me

A series from CBC who consistently drop brilliant podcasts. Boys Like Me focuses on the ‘incel’ movement, and more specifically how isolated young men can vanish into this deadly, dark online world. Thanks Mili for the recommendation!

Thanks for reading (and hopefully thanks for listening!) ✌🏼 😁😁😁
