#42 interviews on enterpreneurship, food, and technology
listening to the head of Uber Europe, the CEO Coach, and an Oscar nominated actor
Good morning! 🌤 This week we have three recommendations (episodes) centered around interviews with fascinating people. I've chosen three of my favourites, but there are so many out there so please let me know if you have any favourite! Enjoy 🤗
the talktank (Jamie Heywood)
This is podcast (from the LSE Entrepreneur Society) delves into the minds of those who think, live, and breathe outside the box. Each episode features an interview with an entrepreneur at the top of the game, covering areas such as social entrepreneurship, creative arts, and technology. I specifically chose the episode on Jamie Heywood (EMEA GM for Uber) as it felt very open and honest, as well as an insight into a fascinating career. I must warn you, the production is not great which is the only thing that lets it down.
The Logan Barlett Show (Ep. 51: Matt Mochary)
Logan Barlett, a leading software investor, set up this podcast to take us behind the scenes with world-class entreprenuers and investors. This episode focuses on Matt Mochary, who is known as being the 'CEO Coach'. He has coached some of the biggest names in Silicon Valley such as, Sam Altman (Open AI), Naval (Angelist), and Brian Armstrong (Coinbase), and shares insights into this relationship and his learnings from it.
Off Menu (Ep 176: Paul Mescal)
Paul Mescal has been everywhere lately, especially after nominations for his role in the movie Aftersun. In this podcast, he chats with James Acaster and Ed Gamble (into their 'magical restaurant') where he chooses his favourite starter, main, and dessert.
Thanks for reading (and hopefully thanks for listening!) ✌🏼 😁😁😁
As always, you can find the podcasts that have been recommended in the podcast everything sheet, and I'd recommend to filter for the category you're looking for 😎 It is updated every week so have a look.
